I’m Rajeev Raman, at present Senior Research fellow of CSIR at the centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Hyderabad, India. I received my M.Sc. in biotechnology from the Visva-Bharati, Shantiniketan, India. After M.Sc. I worked as SRF at Indian Institute of vegetable Research, Varanashi (UP) India on marker and variety development of Tomato leaf curl virus resistant for a brief period. My other crop of interest includes Kidney- and Indian-bean. In leisure time, I follow football (soccer) and other sports. I also enjoy discussions on current topics of socio-political and economic relevance.
Research Interests
My area of interest is in the biology of lens proteins and novel calcium binding folds. I work with Dr Yogendra Sharama (PhD).
